Slick Devil Pomade is an impressive water soluble pomade that has a nice mix of desired characteristics amongst pomade connoisseurs. Slick Devil's thick consistency suggests that is has a high wax to water ratio, which helps with straightening and sculpting thick or curly hair. It's hold is surprisingly strong for how soft it dries in your hair, but this feature doesn't come without sacrifice. Because this pomade dries so soft, heat has a greater influence on Slick Devil's performance than other hard drying pomades. It's fragrance is designed to smell like a combination of vanilla and tobacco leaves, giving it a more natural scent rather than that of a sweetened body lotion. Having used and passed this pomade around to friends for the last few days, I can safely say that this is a quality pomade and performs well in average conditions.
